David LAMY, Managing Director of Tradecowall and President of the GreenWin Innovation Cluster, is a leading figure in the fields of circular economy and industrial innovation in Wallonia.

His reputation extends beyond Belgium’s borders, as he has served since 2021 as President of the Innovation Recycling Prize of the SIM (Société de l’Industrie Minérale), headquartered in Paris. A bioengineer by training, David graduated from the Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), subsequently completing a master’s degree in management at the Louvain School of Management, followed by a “Take The Lead in Sustainability Management” certificate from Vlerick Business School in 2022.

After beginning his career in the agri-food sector, he moved into environmental management, holding managerial positions at SITA (SUEZ Environnement), before becoming Director of SEDISOL, a company specialising in the management and treatment of dredging sludge. Since 2016, he has led Tradecowall, a major player in the recycling and valorisation of excavated earth and construction waste, where he has fostered an innovative and regenerative dynamic, positioning the company as a benchmark in the circular economy within the construction materials sector.

He also serves as managing director of several companies in the sector. As President of GreenWin, David LAMY brings together a wide ecosystem of public and private stakeholders around collaborative innovation in materials, green chemistry, and environmental technologies, making the cluster a key driver of the transition towards a circular economy in Wallonia.

On 21 May 2025, David Lamy will open the conference “50 SHADES OF MINERALS: Extending & Improving Mineral Resources Lifespan | Opportunities, Challenges & Perspectives”.

This international event will highlight the challenges, opportunities, and outlook for the circularity of mineral resources, confirming Wallonia’s position as a pioneering region in sustainable innovation and responsible materials management, and at the heart of several European regions sharing these ambitions.
