Meet Alexandre FOLMER, Project Manager of the Greater Region's Greater Green + Programme at the Circular Wallonia Days 2025 in Mons on 21 and 22 May 2025.

Alexandre FOLMER is Greater Green+ Project Manager at Grand E-Nov+. A recognised specialist in setting up innovative collaborative projects on a cross-border scale, Alexandre has been working for several years to promote the ecological transition in the Grande Région, bringing together France, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg.
As head of the European Greater Green+ project, he is piloting an ambitious initiative supported by the Interreg Grande Région programme, the aim of which is to make this region a leader in the circular economy and sustainable development. The Greater Green+ project brings together more than 30 partners around five major themes: energy, sustainable construction, recycling technologies, water & environment, and bioeconomy. In particular, it aims to create a reference platform for Greentech, support the emergence of innovative solutions and strengthen cross-border collaboration in environmental technologies.

Convinced that borders must become bridges to accelerate the ecological transition, Alexandre FOLMER is committed to structuring a support ecosystem for Greentech start-ups and SMEs, in order to generate a sustainable economic, social and environmental impact.
His vision is to build a greener, more resilient and exemplary Grande Région for future generations.
