As General Director of ACLIMA since 2019, she is an expert in environmental management with extensive experience in industrial management roles and sectoral representation at the European level. She leads the implementation of the cluster’s strategic plan, aligned with the European Green Deal and the 2030 Agenda, fostering innovation, internationalisation of the environmental sector, and the development of new business models. As a key representative of the Basque environmental sector, she maintains close collaboration with public authorities responsible for Industrial Competitiveness and Environmental Policy at regional and national levels.
Since then, he has contributed to the development and execution of the cluster’s strategic projects. His core responsibilities involve managing relationships with member organisations and companies within the environmental and eco-industrial sectors, coordinating working groups, organising technical conferences, and liaising with public institutions and other clusters to foster collaboration and create valuable opportunities for Aclima’s member entities. This session will examine the Basque Country’s circular economy framework, emphasising regionally-driven strategies led by public institutions and the pivotal role of industrial clusters in advancing the green transition. It will feature tangible examples of public-private partnerships, supportive policies, and innovative projects establishing the Basque Country as a European leader in circular economy practices.
