WIN4C: paving the way for a Walloon Circular Materials Valley within the EU, an ambition presented by Lionel FOURDRINIER

Lionel FOURDRINIER is programme manager at CRM Group, where he coordinates R&D projects and development activities relating to the energy transition and circular materials, and also holds the position of sustainable development manager.

He is the coordinator of WIN4C (Walloon Initiative for Circular Materials), a strategic initiative that is part of Wallonia's Intelligent Specialisation Strategy (S3) and brings together more than 80 private and public organisations.

WIN4C aims to position Wallonia as Europe's ‘Circular Materials Valley’ by 2030, by promoting innovation, collaboration and the development of a strong circular economy for technological materials.

Through this initiative, the CRM Group and its partners are anticipating the major changes to come in resource management and encouraging the relocation of production, repair and recycling activities in Wallonia.
