Thomas VAN HOYE is Quality Manager at ELOY BETON, part of the ELOY Group in Belgium. Based in Esneux, he is responsible for overseeing quality control and ensuring high standards in concrete production.
Thomas holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Université catholique de Louvain, complemented by additional training in concrete technology from the Groupement Belge du Béton. He also participated in an innovation program at Texas A&M University. Thomas brings experience from previous roles at CMIX and SECO.
With a strong commitment to quality and innovation, he plays a key role in supporting ELOY Group’s reputation as a leader in construction and water management solutions.
Together with Audrey VAN DER WIELEN from BCCR, Thomas will present the MONOCRETE on behalf of ELOY, a Walloon research project that brings together industrial and academic partners to develop thick single-layer concrete coatings using alternative binders and recycled aggregates, with the aim of improving durability under heavy loads while significantly reducing environmental impact through innovative material formulations and life cycle assessment.
