This report was prepared by GreenWin as part of the eDIH Connect project to capitalise on the experience gained in supporting companies in their innovation and digital transformation journeys, particularly within the construction and digital technology sectors.
Within this project, GreenWin’s role was to foster innovation among construction and digital businesses by offering collective events and individual support services under the de minimis aid framework. To this end, the cluster developed a range of participatory event formats designed to guide organisations from the identification of a challenge through to the development of an innovation project, as described in this report. The report also highlights the value of multi-stakeholder approaches, the lessons learned from the activities carried out, and several practical examples drawn from the eDIH Connect project.
The report further emphasises that participatory formats represent only one component of the innovation journey. To be fully effective, they must be embedded within a broader approach that combines inspiration and awareness-raising activities focused on the opportunities offered by digital technologies, networking and matchmaking initiatives between complementary stakeholders, and support in identifying the most appropriate funding mechanisms (a service provided by GreenWin). This combination of inspiration, co-creation, experimentation, networking and access to funding helps create an environment conducive to the emergence, development and implementation of innovation projects.
Through this sharing of experience, GreenWin aims to provide insights and practical tools for organisations wishing to establish or strengthen collaborative innovation approaches tailored to their specific needs and context.
