The certified innovation projects

At the start of 2011, two training projects and six Training projects resulting from the cluster’s first call for projects were certified by the Walloon government. Other innovation projects resulting from the cluster’s second call for projects should receive certification before the end of 2011.

Presentation of projects

1. Hub 1 projects - Development of sustainable products and materials
   Green chemistry, which involves the development of new materials and new products made from renewable (bio-based) raw materials and secondary (recycled) materials.

2. Hub 2 projects - Sustainable integration and roll-out of materials
   Construction, which develops new processes for rolling out innovative materials and ensures their integration in resources and systems reducing the environmental footprint

3. Hub 3 projects - Treatment and recovery of waste and effluents
   The environmental sector develops new methods for treating effluents and recovering secondary materials produced by human activity.
